Rose Care Training and Recruitment

All our managers are experienced and have been employed in the provision of care services for at least ten years.

Staff Development

Currently, we have approximately thirty care staff, who provide around 2000 home visits each week. The service provided by us continues 365 days a year (with the exception of housework, which is not done on Bank Holidays).

To enable carers working for Rose Care to be competent and develop the skills expected of them, an ongoing programme of training and information is provided for each member of staff.

Some of the training is 'in house'; also as outside courses become available carers are asked to attend. Some courses will be mandatory, eg. 'People Handling People'. As employers we have a duty by law (The Health and Safety at Work Act) to our employees and to our clients to provide care, information and training. Employees also have a duty to take reasonable care of their own and other peoples' health and safety, and to co-operate with their employer in carrying out these duties.
