Apparently the 1st of March was the meteorological first day of Spring, not that it looked much like it from the office window with snow, ice and a freezing wind!
I am very proud of the way our carers and office staff have pulled together in this extreme weather and I am sure you appreciate that they were able to get to you for your calls.
Congratulations to Robert and his girlfriend Alex who have a baby boy, Brandon, born on 17th February.
On Tuesday 20th February we had a tea party at the Old Felixstowe Community Hall photos are on our website. Copious cups of tea and coffee, sandwiches and cake and a chance for a natter with old friends and make new friends.
Our next outing will be to Wyevale on 26th March perfect for getting any last minute Easter eggs or spring flowers. We will travel up to Wyevale in carers cars have a look around and then we can go to the café for drinks and cake (funny how everything associated with Rose Care involves tea and cake!)
We are also planning a lunch at the Royal British Legion and a trip to Felixstowe Museum and the View Point Café in April and May.
We have been joined by Michaela and Sharon whom many of you will already have met. They both worked previously in care, and are enjoying the new challenges and environment of working in home care.
Easter bank holiday is coming up. Good Friday the 30th and Easter Monday the 2nd , please be reminded our charges are double the normal weekday rate on bank holidays.
Please also be aware that we do not do housework or regular shopping calls on bank holidays.
Please can let the office know as soon as possible if you would like to cancel any calls over Easter.
If you would like to come to the Spring trip please fill out and return the booking form enclosed.
From all at Rose Care.
